I would not be where I am today had it not been for the mentors who invested in me while I was growing up in Brooklyn,NY. They not only modeled excellence, but they taught me that none of my success would be worth it, if I did not commit to pour into others the same way they poured into me. Mentorship in urban communities is not a nice to have, but a need to have.
